13 Reasons Why You Should Give It All To God
Today, we are going to look at a subject, titled: Give It All To God.
To drive it home, we are going to be looking at the subject in a triangle – 3 sides:
One, what does the Scripture say about giving it all to God?
Two, what are those things the Scripture says to give all to God?
And three, why you should give it all to God.
As you already know, God demands some things from you that represents your service to Him.
On the other hand, the Scripture points out some things that you are to consciously give to the Lord, if you want to have a happy life, and if you want to enjoy and to walk in the blessings of God.
So let’s dive in and see what God word has to say about giving it all to God.

Give It All To God: What Does The Bible Say?
God is jealous God, He doesn’t tolerate halfheartedness, you either give Him all your allegiance or you don’t give Him at all.
You cannot serve Him and at the same time serve someone or something else.
It is either you are all in or you are all out, no middle ground with God.
In Luke’s gospel, the scripture makes it explicit:
“No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.’ (Luke 16:13, KJV)
In another place, God says to those who are one leg in with Him and the other leg out with the world, or Satan:
“I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.” (Rev 3:15-16, KJV)
That about said it all; you stand the risk of losing it all if you do not give it all to God.
It is either you are all in or all out, no negotiations here.
But point is: God wants you to give it all to Him in everything.

5 Things The Scripture Says To Give All To God
A critical look at the Word, you will find some very critical things that God does not negotiate.
These are things and areas of your life where God wants to have all the say so – the full control.
Anything order than that, He will not tolerate.
1. Your Worship
God may play soft with you on so many other things, but when it comes to worship, there are no negotiations.
He made it clear to the children of Israel when they came out of Egypt:
“I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. Thou shalt have none other gods before me. Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me, And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.” (Deuteronomy 5:6-10, KJV)
There’s hardly really any other thing that God demand all as much as worship.
So who has your worship?
God or something and someone else!
And if God, is it all of it.
See my friend, the Lord Jehovah wants all your worship.
Israel of old payed dearly for giving the worship that belongs to the only true God alone to other demon gods.
Their history of slavery, captivity and banishment from their ancestral land for thousands of years is simply because they went worshipping other gods instead of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
Let us be careful not to make the same mistake my friend.
2. Your Heart
The heart is the center of your being and also the center of your love and worship.
Once it is divided, it will bring curse instead of blessing.
Where your heart is, your love and loyalty is there.
That’s why God demands that you give Him all your heart – not some of it, all of it.
Your love, allegiance, worship – all are a function of your heart.
“And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?” (Deuteronomy 10:12-13, KJV)
God is clear about what He wants as far as your heart is concerned: He wants all of it.
Give your one hundred percent devotion, allegiance, thought, worship and love to the Lord.
That way, you give all your heart to the Him.
3. Your Tithe
Without mincing words, God is also clear that you should give Him all your tithes.
And the interesting thing about this is that God ties a blessing around it.
God wants all your tithe (10 percent of all your increase), that’s it.
He doesn’t want some of it, but ALL of it.
Are you faithful in giving all your tithes?
That’s up to you.
But giving all your tithes to the Lord promises a blessing.
God even said for you to test Him in this and see if He will not open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing on you. (See Malachi 3:8-12, KJV)
Common, it’s time to test God with your tithes.
4. Your Cares
God knows humans so well; what do you expect of a manufacturer, will He will not know His product more than any other person!
Worry, anxiety and cares are some of the most destructive habits in the world today.
A lot more people are sick and many more dead because of anxiety.
Doctors even claim that a large percentage of patients who visit medical centers for help everyday will be cured of their ailments if they would stop worrying.
Anxiety kills more than cancers.
Worse still, it kills faster than cancers too.
God understands all these, that’s why He states clearly in His word that you should ‘cast all your anxiety upon Him’ (See 1 Peter 5:7, KJV)
How many worries did God says to cast on Him and how many did He says you should carry by yourself?
None on both sides.
Cast ALL your cares, worry and anxiety upon the Lord, for He cares for you.
Keep none of your anxiety on yourself, for it is a deadly poison.
So throw away that anxiety habit, learn to cast it ALL on the Lord, He knows what to do with it.
5. Your Trust
There’s something that makes God go all the way out for you – TRUST.
For obvious reasons, God wants you to trust and believe in Him and His word one hundred percent.
When you do that, His hand will be released one hundred percent too in your favor.
This was why Jesus in His walk and ministry always call for people to believe Him before He could help them.
If you don’t trust God to make good His word in your life, you are actually saying that God is not good and His word cannot be relied on.
That’s an insult on God, you know!
Yes, not trusting God for who He is and for what He says in His word is an insult on God’s integrity.
It is even arrogance.
It has ended a lot of persons in doom.
God wants you to give Him your wholehearted trust.
