But the inference comes from the Passover account in Exodus 12, where the Lord instructed that He will Passover (exempt) every household where the blood is applied on the door posts and lintel.
Coming over to the New Testament, we believe there’s a blood cover over every one who is redeemed by the blood of Christ, for even Christ is our Passover in the New Testament. (1 Corinthians 5:7).
Though not taught in the New Testament with direct references, we believe that in the realm of the spirit, the Blood of Christ does cover believers or that there’s a protective shield and force field over believers because of the shed Blood of Christ our Lord and Redeemer.
