  1. But there’s no scripture there that says we covered by the Blood of Jesus the way it’s taught in some church circles. The context of almost all those scriptures speak about the sacrifice of Jesus and it’s attainment of our salvation. It does not talk about being covered by the Blood

    1. True sir, the Bible does not contain direct references and passages where the term “covered by the blood of Jesus” is taught just like you said.

But the inference comes from the Passover account in Exodus 12, where the Lord instructed that He will Passover (exempt) every household where the blood is applied on the door posts and lintel.

Coming over to the New Testament, we believe there’s a blood cover over every one who is redeemed by the blood of Christ, for even Christ is our Passover in the New Testament. (1 Corinthians 5:7).

Though not taught in the New Testament with direct references, we believe that in the realm of the spirit, the Blood of Christ does cover believers or that there’s a protective shield and force field over believers because of the shed Blood of Christ our Lord and Redeemer.

So in vital application, we are to confess that covering over us by faith. Some persons do not necessarily use the term “covered by the blood of Jesus” in application and appropriation, but they sure voice their faith in the blood by declaring somewhat their faith in the blood as a shield, cover and protection from evil, Satan and His malevolent spirits.
